Abstract

This research focuses on the impact that Covid-19 had on consumer buying behaviors using data analytics. Covering the impact of fear, uncertainty and changes in lifestyle on shopping decisions and a shift in focus for consumers, it examines how these factors played a role in shifting their priorities. The study employs exploratory data analysis techniques of secondary survey data to identify patterns in spending habits, psychological impacts and digital adoption. The findings demonstrate that consumers were more cautious, more aware of safety needs, and that businesses had to evolve to respond to new demands via digital platforms. The analysis further shows that emotional and psychological factors had a significant influence on the buying behavior. In summary, the study offers significant insights into the use of data analytics to gain insights into consumer adaptation and inform business strategies in crisis situations.
