Unravelling Images of Women in the Wedding Agreement Film: A Feminist Study

Abstract

This study aims to determine the image of women in the wedding agreement film that aired on the Indonesian big screen on August 8, 2019. The wattpad script was written by the pen name Mia Chuz whose real name is Eria Chuzaimiah. There are three images of women raised in this study: 1) the image of women in the psychological aspect, 2) the image of women in the physical aspect, and 3) the image of women in the social aspect of society. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through films that the researchers watched carefully; the theory used in this study is the feminism theory; the results of this study are that there are 10 images of women in psychological aspects, 3 images of women in physical aspects, and 5 images of women in physical aspects.
