International Journal of Cultural and Religious Studies is an interdisciplinary scholarly journal published by Al-Kindi Center for Research and Development. The principal aim of the journal is to promote critical investigation into all aspects of the study of religion and culture, particularly from scholars with an innovative and multidisciplinary focus. The journal is based in the United Kingdom but is international in scope, and open to explorations of religion and popular culture in a variety of nationalities and cultures. All research articles published in this journal undergo a rigorous peer-review process, based on initial editor screening and anonymised refereeing by at least two anonymous referees. The journal provides free and open access to all of its content on our website.

Continuous Publishing and Fast Review Process

International Journal of Cultural and Religious Studies publishes articles on a continuous basis. This means that each article, after peer-review and acceptance, will be published immediately within the current volume, including a digital object identifier (DOI) and page numbers. All papers are published into a single annual (January-December) volume.
