The Role of the Social Worker in Modifying the Process of Decision Making through using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Abstract

The idea of cognitive-behavioural therapy is helping to improve the way of thinking or emotions to see the result on the client's behaviour. Some of the clients find it difficult to change the process of thinking when they are trying to take a step of changing. In this article, I will provide brief information on the role of the social worker in modifying the process of decision making by using cognitive behavioural therapy. Some research studies mentioned the importance of CBT and the CBT using in the decision-making process. Also, the several cognitive techniques that might benefit the social workers or the therapists on applying into the sessions or psychotherapy.
