Revolutionizing Language Learning: The Impact of AI in EFL Education
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present information about the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the EFL classroom. Thus, academic databases such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate and university repositories were consulted. After reviewing 236 documents, 41 articles were selected and analyzed. The results of this study provide evidence to argue in favor of the use of AI as a tool inside the classroom since it promotes autonomy, motivation and engagement coming from the students. However, further research should be conducted on the implementation of AI in the EFL classroom at both national and international levels in order to examine how this tool gradually evolves and changes the traditional way of teaching.
