International Journal of Linguistics Studies (IJLS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Al-Kindi Center for Research and Development. It publishes high-quality articles across the breadth of linguistics research. With its uniquely broad coverage, all published articles are freely available online immediately to anyone, anywhere, with no subscription or access fees, allowing authors to share their research and maximise its impact. The journal is led by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Ahmad Issa Ahmad Tawalbeh supported by expert international editorial board members who take an objective approach to peer review, ensuring each research paper is reviewed and evaluated on its own scholarly merits and research integrity.
Occasionally, paper acceptance or rejection emails sent by the journal may be caught by spam filters. Most modern email software includes a spam or junk folder, and it is worth checking this from time to time.
If you find emails from our journal in your spam or junk folder, you can tell your mail program that it is not spam by hitting the "Not spam" or "Not junk" button, and most mail programs will learn from this and will be less likely to misclassify subsequent emails.Read more about Receiving Spam Emails
Continuous Article Publishing (CAP) and Rigorous Review Process
International Journal of Linguistics Studies publishes articles on a continuous basis. Articles are published in the current issue as soon as they are peer-reviewed, accepted, copyedited, and proofread, allowing a steady stream of informative quality articles. The journal then archives the articles within 4 issues: January-March; April-June- July-September; October-December. In the continuous publication, articles may be submitted at any time. They still undergo the same process of peer review and preparation, but this can begin right away and ends as soon as the article is ready. Special collections of articles are welcomed and will be published as part of the normal issue, but also within a separate collection page.
