About the Journal

The British Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (BJMS), published by the Al-Kindi Center for Research and Development, is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across all academic fields. BJMS provides a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide to publish high-quality original research, review articles, case studies, conceptual papers, and technical reports across natural sciences, engineering, medical and health sciences, social sciences, humanities, arts, and emerging interdisciplinary fields. The journal fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, promotes the practical and societal application of research, and upholds rigorous peer-review standards to ensure the integrity, credibility, and excellence of published work. BJMS welcomes contributions from physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, statistics, earth and planetary sciences, environmental science, astronomy, material science, engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical, computer, aerospace, robotics, energy, nanotechnology, and more), medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, public health, biomedical sciences, psychology, physiotherapy, veterinary science, social sciences (economics, political science, sociology, anthropology, law, education, management, communication, and more), humanities and arts (literature, linguistics, history, philosophy, arts, musicology, archaeology, cultural studies, and related fields), as well as emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, bioinformatics, climate science, sustainability, urban planning, innovation, and social policy research, offering a comprehensive forum for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and scholarly advancement.

Focus and Scope

The British Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (BJMS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research across all academic disciplines. BJMS provides a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide to share innovative ideas, methodologies, and findings, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and advancing knowledge across sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, arts, health, and emerging fields.

Types of Contributions

The journal publishes the following types of contributions: (1) full-length articles, (2) review articles, (3) book reviews, (4) discussion notes and (5) articles in translation 

Open Access Policy

This is an open-access journal, i.e. all articles are immediately and permanently free to read, download, copy & distribute. The journal is published under the CC BY 4.0 user license, which defines the permitted 3rd-party reuse of its articles.

Submission Fee

There is no submission fee for the British Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The article processing charge of the journal is $150.

Conflict of Interest

Conflicts of interest may exist when professional judgements concerning a primary interest have the possibility of being influenced by a secondary interest (e.g.: financial gains). It is to be noted that even perceptions of conflicts of interest are as important as the actual conflicts of interest.
Any agreements with study sponsors (for-profit or non-profit), which interfere with the authors’ access to the study data, ability to analyse or interpret the data and publish manuscripts independently according to their own decision, should be avoided by authors at all costs.
A declaration of interest for all authors must be received before an article can be reviewed and accepted for publication.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
We fully support and encourage the author self-archiving of all content (sometimes termed 'green' open access). All our journals are registered with SHERPA/RoMEO to ensure that the license terms and self-archiving policies of the journals are 100% clear.
The journal is indexed by Google Scholar and available for harvesting via OAI-PMH.

All accepted articles are screened using plagiarism-checking software.

Advertisement Policy
