PT also experiences this. Trias Indra Saputra is a manufacturer of Aluminum Cable Ladder located in Kabupaten Tangerang, Indonesia. Lean manufacturing is one method that can be used to identify and reduce waste in the production process. The existence of waste in the production process can lead to increased cost and processing time for a product. Value Stream Mapping (VSM), as an approach in Lean Manufacturing, can be used to find problems in the flow of products and information. Identification of waste begins with describing the current state of VSM and then analyzing the waste into 7 categories. After obtaining the waste category, continue conducting a Root Cause Analysis before designing and taking action to improve the process. By implementing Lean manufacturing PT. Trias Indra Saputra can reduce production time by 52%, Man Power by 70%, and production cost by 34% with the same quality even better than before.</p> ER -
