About the Journal

Journal of Chemistry Studies is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Al-Kindi Center for Research and Development. The journal is naturally broad in scope, welcomes submissions from across a range of disciplines, and reports both theoretical, practical and experimental studies. All research articles published in this journal undergo a rigorous peer-review process, based on initial editor screening and anonymised refereeing by at least two anonymous referees. The journal provides free and open access to all of its content on our website.

Focus and Scope

The Journal of Chemistry Studies publishes original papers, review papers, case studies, conference reports, academic exchanges, conceptual framework, empirical research, technical notes, and book reviews in the field of chemistry.

The publication frequency of the Journal of Chemistry Studies is yearly (1 issue per year).

Types of Contributions

Open Access Policy

This is an open-access journal, i.e. all articles are immediately and permanently free to read, download, copy & distribute. The journal is published under the CC BY 4.0 user license which defines the permitted 3rd-party reuse of its articles. 

Submission Fee

There is no submission fee for the International Journal of Linguistics, Literature and Translation.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The article processing charge od the journal is 100 USD.

Conflict of Interest

Conflicts of interest may exist when professional judgements concerning a primary interest have the possibility of being influenced by a secondary interest (e.g.: financial gains). It is to be noted that even perceptions of conflicts of interest are as important as the actual conflicts of interest.

Any agreements with study sponsors (for-profit or non-profit), which interfere with the authors’ access to the study data, ability to analyse or interpret the data and publish manuscripts independently according to their own decision, should be avoided by authors at all costs.

A declaration of interest for all authors must be received before an article can be reviewed and accepted for publication.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. 

The journal is indexed by Google Scholar and available for harvesting via OAI-PMH.
